SAFC Introduces Certified Organics to Flavors &
Fragrances Product Line
SAFC Supply Solutions has
recently added 50 new certified
organic oils to its extensive flavors
and fragrances product line. This
includes oils used in fragrances such as
ylang-ylang, citronella, litsea cubeba, petigrain, juniper berry, laven-
der, cedarwood and eucalyptus radiata, as well as a wide range of
oils used in flavors such as lemongrass, lime, green mandarin,
pumpkin seed, sage, basil, thyme and cinnamon. In addition, SAFC is
in the process of bringing unique organic products to the market,
such as cinnamaldehye and organic linalyl acetate, which are used

New Mushroom Powders
Synergy Production Laboratories’ (SPL) organic Synergized
Mushroom Powders include only
the mycelium portion of the mush-
room organism, where valuable
polysaccharide compounds, such as beta glucans, are highly
concentrated. Varieties include those that have demonstrat-
ed the greatest health benefits: Cordyceps sinensis,
Agaricus blazei, reishi, shiitake, maitake, lion’s mane, and
turkey tails. These fungi contain an abundance of immune-
strengthening compounds and are high in enzymes, which
aid in the digestion of beneficial constituents. These mush-
rooms are grown on a certified organic brown rice, millet,
or buckwheat substrate to avoid the allergens present in
commonly used substrates such as soy, and to ensure that
these mushrooms do not absorb pesticide residues.
