Eatem Earns Safe Quality
Food Certification
Eatem Foods, creator of all natural premium savory fla-
vor systems including meat, poultry, seafood, cheese and
vegetable concentrates, recently attained certification as a
Safe Quality Food (SQF) 2000 Level 2 Food Manufacturer
by the Safe Quality Food Institute, reinforcing their com-
mitment to quality products and cutting-edge technolo-
gies.
The SQF Institute, a division of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) is an international independent certifying agency
that maintains strict programs and management systems.
Certification assures that a company’s food safety and quality management systems comply with the international and
domestic food safety regulations. The SQF certification
program helps reduce assessment inconsistencies and confirms that products have been manufactured, processed
and prepared under rigorous controls and high standards.
"Our team approach to product quality and service has
been in effect since we first began operations in 1983,” says
Robert Buono, CEO and founder of Eatem Foods Company.
“We actively support employee training and development
to assure plant safety and product quality.”
